Mike,

Right out of the chute I hit a buggy....

Open an Image in CM, select a pin.  Pin Comes up in Disabled mode.
If I set a neutral first everything is good.  But I went for the sky in your birdy picture...just to see what happens...Very repeatable so far...I have closed CM twice and both times it comes up this way.

Greg - I was able to recreate the problem and - fingers crossed, gulp - fix it.

Please check out v3.0.12 in the beta area.
