I've added Klaus Nordby to the beta discussion group - he's been a source of interesting ideas, as well as bugs for some time now, and I think you'll find him a kindred spirit. He is also an advocate of including CMY as mask channels.

Nice to meet you, Klaus! Looks like you are having some fun with Lab. I will go check it out.
