The first screenshot attached shows how my 16bit image looks in RGB mode with a shadow and highlight point set. About right. The second screenshot shows how it looks in wgCMYK mode for the same operation. Probably not right... :)

It's probably related, but here's another issue with the same image. I put a sample point in the sky and in RGB, Lab and HSB modes it points to cyan/blue. Switch mode to wgCMYK and it goes black!

I think I know exactly where the problem is. wgCMYK is unique in that the image values are stored inverted, and this is being ignored for samples in 16 bit mode. This is a great bug because it will be much easier to fix than it was to find!
