LAB Mask Question

Mike,
More of a question I think....

After using a mask to create this image...I still see some skin tones visually even though the hue clocks are showing the colors from the LAB numbers.  Is this a case where the hue clocks are not showing the color on the screen but pulling the color from the numbers?? 

I'd like the hue clocks to show me the screen colors since that is what I am looking at. 
My settings are "show actual colors" on the hue clocks.  Is that actual by the numbers or actual by the screen?

I know we addressed this before but It still seems like it's getting fooled

This is definitely wrong - the hue clock should reflect the visual appearance, and it's obviously not.  I'll try to recreate this.  Are you doing an inverted skin filter combined with an a channel invert (sounds catchy, doesn't it).
