Well, here's a rather useless bug report, but I'll send it in case anyone else sees the problem and can build on my report.
I was playing with the HiLite Curve function and managed to get a couple of points selected in my b curve. I started moving them and the curve guard cut in - I had a really weird up and down shaped red curve. In order to start again I dragged one (or maybe two, I can't remember exactly what I had selected) of the points off the curve graphic and CM3 locked up. No error, no crash, just an unresponsive window and a mouse cursor fixed as a 4 way arrow. I had to use Task Manager to kill off PS and start again.
I haven't been able to reproduce it as yet.
