Could the CM3 window contain a title more useful than "Untitled"? The name of the image document being worked on, perhaps?

Actually, mine does have the name of the file being worked on!

Derek, you're a mind reader.  I put a fix for this into the latest version, but didn't mention it because it was not on the bug list.

Gloria is correct as well - if you change channels, or press ctrl-~, the correct window title appears.

LOL, I tried opening all sorts of files to see if it showed the filename for JPEGS or something. I couldn't get it to work; I thought it must be me!
