16 bit problem

I was in the curves dialog, and started to work through the color space options, starting with RGB, then WGCMYK, but when I got to Lab, CM crashed, took PS along. I did the same thing again, with same results. Then I tried changing to 8-bit, and all modes work fine. My images from previous crashes were 16 bit as well. Would you like me to try them again in 8-bit, Mike?

Hi Gloria,

I think I have enough information for a comparison - I'll let you know if I can't get 16 bit to fail.  Please do keep the crash reports coming as they turn up though.

After some quick checking, I have found a very reproducible bug for 16 bit mode that should be fixed very soon.  Thanks, Gloria.
