When you do the screen shot...shoot for 800X600 and adjust the quality to fill the 200KB file size...

New twist on this ...this might be by design but I'm not sure...
If I am zoomed in in PSE when I open CM it opens zoomed way in...I don't recall this behavior in CM2...

See shots 1 and 2

The entire image is shot 3.

Thanks Greg, for the sizing advice.
Are the z and alt keys supposed to zoom back down, or is there another key I'm supposed to be using? The alt key gives me the eyedropper.

Also, Mike, the masks are now back, as well. I couldn't access them along with the scrolling problem.

Pressing the Z key toggles you into zoom tool mode for one click.  Then you have three choices, click to zoom in to a particular area, sweep out a rectangle to zoom in on, or pressing the alt will make a minus sign appear in the center of the zoom tool, for one click's worth of zoom out.

This "one click" behavior is new, and now that you mention it, I'm not so sure I like it for the zoom tool.  It used to keep you in zoom mode indefinitely, until you clicked on another tool, pressed Z again, or clicked again on the zoom icon to toggle back to the arrow cursor.  I'm thinking the old way was better, since you generally want to do several clicks with the zoom tool.

The way I normally access the zoom tool is by holding down both control and space at the same time to zoom in, and ctrl-alt-space to zoom out.  The other way to zoom is by dragging out a rectangle with the zoom in cursor.

If you manage to get back into "no masks and no scroll" mode again, I'd be very interested.

Thanks for all the feedback, this is very valuable and is having a good impact on the software.
