Another red line problem

Open an image and create a sample point on it. Move the clock a little way away so the red line appears. On the Color Sample ribbon, click Show Info to remove the hue clock. Now create another new sample point in the same way. Now click on the original sample point and click Show Info again to get the hue clock back. It appears, but without the red line that joins it to its sample point.
