scroll bar issue solved...

I dragged the curves window over slightly towards the image window, and the image "lost" the scroll bars, and moved into the center again, with curves window on top. This time I was able to move the curves window over as far as I could to the right, and everything went back into place. I pressed the far upper right  (on title bar)"maximize"button, and did it again, and the same thing happened. In each position I could still see the scroll bar off to the right, which wasn't the case yesterday.

I'm absolutely glad it's better.

The only thing that bothers me is that I didn't really fix anything! :-)
