....and if so, where should I go to download it? I've looked; I can't find any mention of either yay or nay (and I notice that CurveMeister is now up to 3.6).

We are actually at 3.8.x with a new build coming soon.
near the top of the page there is a link to the downloads area. right below the profile data in the upper left of the forum.
