Funny you should ask that.
I bought a calibrator a while ago and have been too nervous to try it so far.
I had lots of time today so gave it a go.
It was fairly simple really and has changed things a bit.
Not a lot, but it doesn't take much for things to look seriously out of whack.
I think I will see how things go now and get back to the forum in a few days.
I hope I don't have to recorrect too much!

The first thing I saw when looking at the image was a black spot near center at top of structure.....dust in camera?
Blue skies are rather subjective and too much cyan may be present...get the neutral grays correct and sky usually follows as OK.
Sometimes comparing to the auto convert from camera to .jpg or auto color/contrast/tone in Ps also makes for a good comparison or starting point.
But neither is usually what you want for a final color correction. Fix only what you 'know to the correct color for it' and the rest of the image will be correct as well, in most cases.
