I agonized over this photo because I didn't know how to get the green/yellow out of the paper and his collar. In the end I took the photo back to photoshop and selected the paper and collar, added a hue & sat. adjustment layer and took out the offending color. I don't know if that is fair ...

Greg, I figured out how to "select" the curve lines so they would move together. I click on the top, held the shift key down and clicked on the bottom curve line. Then both ends moved together.
Here's my purple down. Neat way to make a mask.
